“ A real rustic looking pub, we stopped in here for a few beers on our way back home from Bournemouth. Open fire, oak tables, oak flooring, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, lots of selections of beer, didn’t try the badger beer which is brewed near, as I believe? Very spacious inside and outside, plenty of parking. Can imagine this place gets packed, and for good reasons. Unfortunately we didn’t have anything to eat but others peoples food looked delicious. Will definitely be returning by when in the area ”

The kids activity packs were great, so much choice in the booklet and the best quality I've seen in a long time. We were driving past on our way home and enjoyed our visit, if we are ever in the area again we will return! ”

“ Had the best Sunday roast we have had for a long time, food was delicious. Roast pork with all the trimmings including crackling & huge Yorkshire puds, cooked perfectly and leaving no room for desserts. Staff are always friendly and helpful but Tasha & George were absolutely great and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back! ”
“ We visited during mid April , around 6pm on a Tuesday we were staying in the area for a few days and was looking for a nice place for dinner . When entering the restaurant was not busy at all we didn’t have a reservation but there there were plenty of seats . We were hosted my Jess who was a very wonderful and sweet lady , she catered for all are needs and we had no complaints . When the food arrived we were surprised by a few of the portion sizes ( eg.the gammon chop) but the food was very delicious and fairly priced . I’d highly recommend if you are in the area and are looking for a place to eat , overall for a family of 5 we payed around 80-90 for are meal which is very good , we order 3 meals , and child’s and a few sides ( highly recommend the buttermilk chicken and bacon hash brown bites the size was perfect for someone who doesn’t eat a huge meal but would like more than a child’s ) . Thank you for the lovely experience. ”
